Highlights: Everyone is left to fend against natural disasters brought on by Dr Doom taking on The Beyonder.

Synopsis: Only able to watch as Galactus devours his home world, the heroes prepare for their deaths only to be surprised when the pure energy that once was the home world is diverted from Galactus straight to Dr Doom's base. Dr Doom absorbs the energy into his own body and becomes close to god-like. He then decides to take on the Beyonder in order to finally gain the amount power he feels he so rightly deserves. Dr Doom is overpowered though, so he looks to the Heroes for help and when it is not given it seems that Doom is done for, only to have him return to the planet more powerful then ever and claiming to have beaten the Beyonder.

Extra Info: Wolverine and Captain America have words with each but in the face of danger they begin to see eye to eye.

Highlights: The X-men and the Heroes fight Galactus

Synopsis: The Heroes rush back to the village to help the X-Men fight Galactus. In the middle of the battle, Dr. Reed is  transported to Galactus' homeworld for tea. While this is going on Dr Doom realizes he might still be able to win and breaks out of the holding cell the Heroes have left him in and begins to prepare a machine using Klaw's body. The Heroes fight and are winning, but Galactus gets away and begins attacking from space. The X-Men and the Heroes are once more reunited.

Secret Wars #8

Highlights: The Heroes storm the Villains base. The village healer saves the Wasp. Galactus gets ready to strike.

Synopsis: While the X-Men watch Galactus, the Heroes rush to the Villain's base to save She-Hulk. A battle ensues and the Heroes win, taking over the base as their own. Although She-Hulk is badly beaten, she lives and can be healed in the medical center of the base. Meanwhile in the village it is revealed that The Wasp has not died, but was in a death like state that the village healer was able to save the Wasp from, but in doing may have fatally wounded herself. Xavier calls the Heroes back, fearful that Galactus is now ready to devour the planet.

Highlights: The X-Men help the Heroes fight the Villains, acting as free agents.

Synopsis: Galactus summons his home from space while the Heroes regroup, the X-Men come to an agreement with Magneto, and Doom plans his next move. Galactus attacks the Heroes and Doom uses the attack to his advantage and has the Villains attack the Heroes as well while he waits to invade Galactus' home and the X-Men fly in to help the Heroes. The Heroes and the X-Men win and the X-Men fless, leaving a critically wounded Colossus behind for the Heroes to save.

Extra Info: There seems to be a battle for leadership between Storm and Xavier.
